Luckily the snow mostly blew away on the wind gusts. The rest melted today… Yesterday during the nasty weather, the boys had a track meet against 4 other schools – mostly 8th graders. We nearly froze to death… The boys were tagged to run distance – Sean ran the 1600 meters in 6 minutes 13 seconds. Ethan did the 400 meter in 1 minute 22 seconds. I think they did very well considering this was their first run at distance and they were half frozen; there was no way to stay warm… I’m a little proud of ’em – can you tell? ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Wouldn’t the running help keep them warm ๐Ÿ˜€ Maybe they ran faster just to get it over with ๐Ÿ˜†

Snap–You should keep dropping by more often–I think you make us all smile! (and the view from your new place is really nice!!!) ๐Ÿ™‚

Har? Explain this one, how is it 85-90 degrees in our office when it’s 45 outside? And no, the furnace is not on…

That’s a no brainer…the servers, etc. of course. ๐Ÿ˜› At work they have to keep the AC cranked way down in the computer room.

If we go by your work temperature, it’s room temperature outside right now here in Florida. It’s been 85-88 almost every day this week. ๐Ÿ˜‰

The servers are in the server room, not the office. ๐Ÿ˜›

It’s hot in the rooms because you have windows in the actual office area. And they probably aren’t well insulated. So your office is probably like our apartment (which is now graced by AC). That and it’s in a strip mall like setup (which is really a bunch of offices) Maybe someone in one of the other offices is cold??? Tee hee. ๐Ÿ˜€

I haven’t broke my computer again yet, Snap. ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Nope. The windows are double glaze, covered with 12mm security film with tint and solar/UV rejection, then covered again by 3% blinds.

              Keep trying ๐Ÿ˜€

Hot water pipes? Some friends of mine had a basement apartment, and they never had to turn the heat on. It was always hot in their place. The hot water pipes were the culprit. Good in the winter, not so much in the summer.

I might’ve been referring to the warm air output by the PC fans. ๐Ÿ˜›
