I’ve never collected or purchased equines before, but I’d want a cast of him too whenever you finish, if I can afford it. He’s much nicer than most of the horses out there. I like the solidly built breeds.

Ok so it was just me! *goes off to hide in a corner* I’m glad that it was just me.

LOL don’t worry, he’s probablly all out of proportion…but I think his head and hooves are both at the edge of what is acceptable (versus over-huge) for some heavy breeds…if I got the measurements out of my anatomy book right! His head is definitely on the chunky side.
Man you guys are nice! XD I DO absolutely still intend to finish him, and I know I keep saying that, but it will happen. Along with the mess of other sculptures that are fighting for dominance in my head. And anyone who wants a cast of this guy should be able to get one!
….unless of course…I mess up the mold making process….. ;_;"He that breaks a thing to find out what it is has left the path of wisdom."

Of course I’m also a sucker for the big bulky breeds. I don’t think he’s out of proportion at all. I think he’s absolutely stunning and shame on who ever made you feel otherwise!

June 17, 2008 at 6:20 am #629473Beasties? I want to see the beasties.
June 19, 2008 at 5:06 am #629474yup, krakens…and beasties. I want to see the beasties too! XD They are floating around in my head, growing weirder…
I also really want to do a series of griffins, using different bird / cat species. I’ve been drawing puffin griffins forever…. mmm and vulture griffins. And raven griffins. And I have an idea for an anthro sculpture of Raven from the myths of the Pacific Northwest, with the sun in his beak. *sigh* someday soon I hope…
I also want to learn to draw comics, darn it!!! I’ve got two comics that are DYING to be drawn and it’s driving me crazy not having the skill to do it…
