Okay, so I have one of the grey purring cats (one of the ones with the parrot feather sticking out of their mouths)… Well, looking at him today, I noticed that the feather was missing.

My cat ATE the parrot feather. πŸ™„ πŸ˜₯

I now have a purring grey tabby cat with no feather. *weeps* Would it be possible to get a replacement? It was a little greyish-white one.

Tyrrlin, from the look of the feather my kitty has, it’s a little wing covert feather from a gray cockatiel. My birds are molting right now and I am all but swimming in feathers; if you like, I can pick up a small assortment for you and pop them into the mail. You could have your pick from cockatiel, chicken, and peacock feathers! The only glitch is that I don’t know how Melody sterilized her feathers. I think my birds are clean, but of course the feathers do come off of either the floor or the ground.

I may take you up on that offer, especially if I can figure out how to sanitize feathers. Thank you! πŸ™‚

Hopefully Melody will see this and know exactly what kind of feathers she put on the cats. I’d like to keep the sculpt as close as possible to original. *sighs and glares at her cat*

I’m willing to bet that she just glued one on. There’s really no need to sterilize a feather from a healthy pet parrot.

Your REAL cat? or the sculpture ate the feather? I keep wondering that as I read this post. πŸ˜† πŸ˜†

Hee hee hee… I got him unexpectedly while I was Active Duty. I was a Specialist E-4 at the time, and he had more stripes than I did, so he became “Sarge.” Shortly thereafter, I added the rest of his name (’cause I’m a total band geek). His full name is “Sarge with Stripes Forever.”
