I think I remember seeing a baby griffin in that color, but cant recall. Is the family going to be seen in Lynx Point? I like that color. Its not too fussy and more fun (to me) than the solid white 😀 Was there a baby griffin sold in this color already? Thanks!!!

Wouldn’t that make a great production color?
Not as much work as some production colors…..Wishing for Lynx point griffin family. 😛
I’d get a female (mom) for sure if I can afford it at the time. 🙂

Yes I have been doing some chicks in various cat markings, and I’ve done a few lynx point chicks and adults. They really don’t look too much like lynx point cats because the facial markings aren’t the same, but that is what I am calling them. Hmm, ok I will consider it. I still haven’t decided what to try as a new production color. Much of the attractiveness of these Ebay griffins is in the fancy wing markings which we can’t duplicate in production easily. I need a color scheme that looks good and natural without requiring two hours of airbrushing just for the feathers… I generally like to avoid markings that are airbrushed on freehand for production, because markings like that will vary so much from painter to painter.

Melody, I’d also love to see the whole Griffin family done in Lynx Point. I just got my Lynx Point Sitting Griffin Chick and I just love her. She’s become an instant favorite. 🙂 More please. squeek*

You know I actually modeled my Labradorite griffins after Lynx Point Siamese cats? I was living with one at the time. 🙂

                    That’s cool, Nam 8) .
As far as Lynx Point Griffins, I’ll squeek* for them to. Aside from the wolf colored Griffins (which I still need to get somehow) I never really found a Griffin color that ‘speaks’ to me. The Lynx point definitely ‘speaks’ to me 😉 .

I totally understand about the wing markings and I hope you find a happy medium. I will wait and hope! Thanks Miss Melody.

I’d love to have the griffys done in lynxpoint as production pieces. Ethan went completely berserk when he saw the ones on ebay – ‘specially since they look like Loki, E’s kitty. He wanted it sooo badly but it just wasn’t feasible at the time. I think if he could get one through the store he’d be more than happy!

                        twindragonsmum 🙂

I definitely see the resemblance on mom and dad, not so much the chickies though. I would still kill for them. 😀
