We went to the Monteray Bay Aquarium yesterday. They have a new exhibit of river otters! They are sooo cute. The jelly fish are one of my favorites too.
May 21, 2007 at 7:26 pm #579243That’s one place I’ve got to go when I’m in California.
May 21, 2007 at 9:27 pm #579244Ohh I went there this past Feb. It was awesome! I could watch their otters and jellyfish for hours O.O
May 21, 2007 at 11:15 pm #579245I love otters!!! They’re so much fun!! 😀
May 21, 2007 at 11:31 pm #579246The Albuquerque aquarium has some jellyfish tanks… I used to sit and watch ’em forever, but then they made the tank light red instead of blue and it’s not quite as relaxing. 🙁
May 21, 2007 at 11:37 pm #579247what sharks did they have? do you have photos!!!!!???
May 21, 2007 at 11:41 pm #579248i saw some otters at the national zoo in dc on a somewhat cold fall/winter day. the otters looked so pitiful. they swam for a bit, then ran to the door of their habitat and scratched to be let in. they never were let in. 🙁

They didn’t have as many sharks as usual. Mostly leopard sharks, a few hammerheads, a couple big ones in the reef tank. Sadly I forgot my camera (kicks self) 🙄

Ooooh! I saw an article in the paper about the new otters! I’m planning to go see them sometime this summer.
May 23, 2007 at 2:27 am #579253My favorite Aquarium…besides the New Orleans Aquarium…is the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago. The front part of the Shedd is okay, but you can go and see the Oceanarium and they have Dolphins and Beluga Whales. What a fantastic show….the three stories of glass behind the trainers looks out over Lake Michigan….It was the best ever experience at an Aquarium/Zoo.
I just love Aquariums….

There is a candle shop down the street in a mall that sells Windstones! 😀 just the candles though. There are some cute shops, not as many as there used to be. We didn’t go to Fishermans Wharf, so I don’t know what they have there. Have fun when you go! 😀
