I have a few puzzles that I’m putting up on evilBay and was wondering if anyone knew about pricing….
I know they are discontinued and pretty uncommon to rare.
I have a guy offering me $40 for the one and I’m not sure if I should take it or not.
Here are my listings:
http://shop.ebay.com/merchant/nirvanacat13_W0QQ_in_kwZ1
“Key to Eternity” is the one the guy is asking about.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!October 6, 2008 at 3:01 am #496775October 6, 2008 at 3:23 am #735079You’re killing me…I love Josie’s stuff..and I only have the butterfly, and bubble blower, of what you have there…I want the rest! *whine*
Not that I have time or space for puzzles, but I wish I did! I still have Spirit of Flight NIB, need to get it out one of these days, but with a 2 year old, 2500 piece puzzles are not a good idea. I guess my puzzling days will be on hold for a couple more years yet.
Anyway, $40 is a very good price, take it and run! I have no idea if these things go up in value, but getting almost twice than what you paid for it is still decent.

Thanks! I appreciate the input.
I know how it is about having puzzles out…Cats are just as bad as 2 year olds when it comes to getting into things they’re not supposed to. π What my mom does is keeps the boxes from her old puzzles and assembles parts of the puzzle in different lids, then assembles the bigger sections as she goes, transfering with a big metal spatula. That way she can stack up the boxes at night and put them where the cats can’t get them.
As for Jo’s work, she is amazing…I think I have about 30 of her puzzles stashed away waiting to be put together. One time I found someone that had made cross stitch patterns of her work, but I didn’t grab any of those….
Anyway, thanks again!

October 6, 2008 at 3:12 pm #735082just like comics or action figures , it seems puzzles have a loyal collectors market . I found your “Josephine Wall “Minerva’s Melody” on a British store site for 200 pounds , thats roughly 230 bucks . It says all her work prints ,puzzles and so fourth are very limited but it didn’t specify a number
here is a price guide you can pick up at a book store i looked for it online but no dice hope this helps

The boys currently have a 1000 piece Charles Wysocki puzzle going at the moment. It’s funny watching them trying to fend off the cats… scattered pieces everywhere! π― π π What are you stitching? I’m working on a piece for my dad-in-law for Christmas; Nature’s Vision by Sally Smith π

Wow! I couldn’t imagine doing one that big. All those stiches!October 7, 2008 at 2:20 am #735091It does take some serious patience….The dragon is on 18 count I think, and through a father’s eyes is on 14. (the bigger the number the smaller the stitches…) Sometime in the future I plan on doing some on pure linen…just for the challenge!
