I hate winter to bein with. I think it ought to snow..Dec 15th, then stop around Jan 4th. I like snow at Christmas, my birthday(jan 3rd) and a little bit you know, for the kids to play in. But, gosh, here is is, April, I just planted some strawberry plants, and they are calling for snow tomorrow. We had a lovely warm spell, I had all the windows open, it was GREAT, then it got really cold real quick, and I completly forgot to bring the ferns in, so they are probalby dead now. Poor things. I brougth them in this morning.
oh no! save the strawberries!
and yes, it was awful. I ended up sick and running a feaver to boot…my cat just had baby kittens and it was getting too hot for them, we have no AC. We ended up getting some small window AC’s to be able to help.
It was winter up until 2 days ago, now its lovely and about 13 Celcius. But at this time of year week could easily get more snow next week. My tulips and Irises have started coming up through the snow, I hope it doesn’t freeze again.

but then i was in New York last month and we had snow the day we were leaving, we got on the plane and then got stuck on the plane at JFK for 9 HOURS!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHH
No British Airways, on a huge jumbo. The flight was at 11.30pm US time and we got on. Then because of the snow they had problems loading our bags up. Then the thing that pulls the plane away from the stand was slipping and the plane was sliding. That was scairy. We taxied out to the run way and had to wait for the wings to be deiced. We waited about 7 hours because there were other planes waiting to have their wings de iced then they closed the main run way for an hour and the captin said he would wait untill they open the run way. Then after 8 hours the captin said he couldn’t wait any longer because it would be safe to fly. The airport ran out of de icer and we turned back. 😯 then we had to find another flight but we had to wait three hours to get our bags off of the plane. It was on the news and everything. Then when we finisally got off the plane at 9.30am US time we got a round of applause from all the police etc it was so funny.
Then i has a phone call from mum asking if i was nearly home lol.
Nope still on the other side of the world mum 8) It was quite funny actually
