there has been no winter here. the only way I make it through the year is those few months we get rain…………and there is almost NO rain! instead, we have had mostly above normal tempratures this winter….

Just taking a quick break on the thesis work…

I took a look outside and all our snow is gone. 😆 It’s gone from having about an inch on the ground this morning, to not a snow clump in sight at 3:30. Yay! I opened the window a little for Claire Marie and she was so happy. It’s almost 55 degrees F outside. I’ll have to change my profile location again. Whoo hoo!

It’s still miserable here, lovely freezing rain…the good thing is that the snow and ice won;t last long this time of year…I hope!

In GA we are in a level 1 drought. We’ve been on water restrictions since last May. 🙁

I’m not surprised. I’m down by Tampa and I think we get a lot of the same weather. Sprinklers are once a week, even for well-water.

actually, I’m getting sick of summer… at least, it almost feels like it. We’ve already had temps in the mid 90s — 80s in February! , and hardly any rain since last year, we’re at least an inch and a half below normal.

Strangely enough, we did get a couple of inches of snow back in January 8) I think it made the national news.

it does, it gets too hot…and I can’t stand the heat. last summer was insane! almost 2 weeks of 110 degrees!
