    Haha! That was Whippet’s creation!

you can do alot with custom ponies! I have made dragons/centaurs/monsters/dogs/and more! They are fun to play with. The new ones are great to customise…they are easy to clean and find, and are easy to dye/paint.

Still, any pics would be great. I am aiming to make unicorn draft horse-type ones.

Hah, I’d missed that thread. Whippet, that custom is AWESOME! Of course, yours always are, but I love the grossout over the pony cuteness! (my daughter collects MLP, I don’t even know how many we have, but over 100 for sure. I encourage her in it, they’re pretty indestrucible and suit her tastes- and aren’t that bad an investment for her future. There are even a few I’ve liked and kept for myself, and I was too old to have had them in their heyday)

I’ve planned on doing a zombie custom out of one of the Dollar General newborn pony knockoffs, but was going to do the dangling eye a little different, and make hanging guts out of rubberbands. Haven’t gotten around to it yet though.

I’ve done a couple of customs (from poor ponies that were in really bad shape) I’ve also heard that if you store Dyed Ponies next to undyed that the dye can bleed a bit. Then of course there is the whole color mixing thing to get the color you want. I prefer to paint them (in really thin coats, lots of them or sometimes basecoating) and then add a matte or satin varnish to the finished product.
