I paid with money order, so mine will be shipping soon. It’s just as well, since I have a swap piece to paint first! 🙂 My First Mama Foo will be based on the coloring of those found on the Tibetan flag. I’ve thought of doing a pair like a rusty copper though (and a Fire foo!).

I got one and am dying to paint it, but good lord my hands are total junk now for a few days. We got almost 3 feet of snow and I have been shoveling off and on ALL DAY >_< I hate New England weather soooo much!

I have a color planned for mine, and I’ve set out the paints but I haven’t actually started her yet. (I had to do “work” painting today before I work on personal projects)

I’m keeping my first mother foo, and painting her in the same color scheme as the stormfront phoenix I did. I sold that phoenix and missed it nearly the next day after shipping it out! 🙂 http://purplecatcreatives.deviantart.com/art/Stormfront-Phoenix-217133937

I plan on painting the pup to match, I think a stormfront set would be quite nice.

Hopefully I’ll get to start on her tonight or tomorrow.

Haven’t gotten mine in the mail yet, but I have a color scheme planned for the whole family; male, female, and two pups. I haven’t painted the pups yet and I have a feeling that mom’s going to be so pretty, I won’t be able to wait for the father 🙂 I hope I can hold out and paint them all at the same time, so I won’t have to try matching colors and mixing multiple batches of paints.

Ok Melody, for you I stole a few min to give her the basecoat and sneak a pic! 🙂

I’m really enjoying her sculpture detail. I may have to paint a few more of these. I prefer the mother over the pup…but that’s just me and my love for larger pieces with lots of details to paint.

I will say the pup just fits PERFECTLY between those front paws and I love that especially. That point alone will have me buying more pups. <3
