😯 Wow. This is one of the most rediculous threads I’ve ever seen on here.
Wait, it gets worse, I haven’t told my ghost story yet. Then all the silliness beforehand will pale in comparision 😈

I believe in ghosts too and I may have seen one. It was right after one of my dogs passed away. For several days, I kept seeing her out of the corner of my eye, but when I would turn my head, there was nothing there… 😯

Wow…that’s really eerie…

Compatability is something I’m looking for.
A few weeks ago I brought a business deal to John, I’d thought he was maybe interested in an art company that prodused objects of art using the same materials and molding process. Both companies Windstone Editions need a boost in sales, I thought the two of them would make a good combination.
———————————————–I’m curious – does this other company have a website we can check out, or is everything “hush hush”, pending John’s approval? Windstones may be our common denominator, but many different sites and artists have been introduced and discussed here. As you’ve already experienced, we are an opinionated bunch – you can expect reviews from A+ to F- and everything in between.
The Deal was under consideration only briefly;…2 days? I guess I can send you there, (now John might think I’m trying to change his mind, by hijacking people’s attention to another );…Oh well I guess I’ve already done that.
http://WWW.ClayPlanetDesigns.com It’s “,fish with an attitude.” These were hijacked by Disney for “Finding Nemo”. Mike Quinn the artist launched a suit against them using the Johnny Cockron Law team.
Disney is too big and mean to beat in court. Thanks for the link. They look like something you would see in a bar in Key West, Daytona, etc. He has a couple I like, but my decor runs more towards fantasy/goth/horror.

Yeah, it was. I’ve lost other pets, but this was the only time that something like that happened.
January 29, 2007 at 1:03 am #532782We have a resident ghost. Before we were married, my husband said one time it took all of the spoons and hid(?) them. He had to buy more. Another time, he was away on business and when he came home he found a vase sitting in the middle of the kitchen floor. Silly stuff, if you ask me. Christmas 2005, the four of us were sitting in the livingroom and I commented that the tree topper was turned (it has a front and back). We were all looking at it and it turned another quarter turn away from us. We were all like, “did you SEE that?!”. Another time I was bringing empty beer cans from one room to another – I had a few, one was held by my arm against my chest and it was literally knocked away from me. At times we hear voices. Many times I have been sleeping and I half wake up to hear what I think is my husband on the phone. Not him, though – he is at work and I am home alone. Once in a while, it teases our oldest cat. He will be sitting on the chair or on the stairs, looking up at nothing. He starts growling and fussing and ducking, like something is messing with him. Poor kitty:-/ If there are other cats in the room, they usually look at him funny or leave the room. We have a ghost kitty, too. Sometimes it feels like a cat jumping on the bed, but if you sit up and look, there is nothing there.
January 29, 2007 at 1:08 am #532783Wow! What a story!!! You’re a lot braver than I am. I would’ve moved by now. 😯

I haven’t, but what you mentioned is really neat. Does it actually happen exactly as you dreamed it?
Not exactly. I’ll just end up experiencing something in RL and remember how similar it was to something I experienced in a dream. And then just push it aside. But then later on, I end up having another experience that also happened in that same dream. The order might not be the same because the second RL experience might have actually happened as the first experience chronologically in the dream. I usually have several things happen to me in one dream so when I start to have several things in RL match the dream, I start to make the connection.

Have you had ever an experience with one? I never have, but I believe in them too, based on things that I’ve heard and read about.
Yes I have. Its ok if people think I’m insane though 🙂
A couple of weeks after moving into another apartment as a kid (my parents moved around a lot), I was up one night and heard the sound of what I first thought was a man walking around the place. This “man” dragged one of its legs so it was rather loud and I could actually follow its movements within the small apartment. I got up and looked around and the sound stopped and no one was there. Several nights later, I heard the sound again. After getting out of my bed and exploring (I can’t believe how brave I was as a kid) and realizing it wasn’t the natural sounds of the apartment or neighbors underneath, I immediately went to my bed. Soon, as nights went on, the ghost would come into my room (I assumed he must be a ghost by now) sometimes and stop at my bed (I was on the top bunk of a bunk bed so I always imagine his “face” must have been close to mine). Of course, at that moment, I’d always put the blanket over my head and closed my eyes real tight and pretend it was a dream. I never saw the ghost, even when I follow its movements from my open door from my bed at night, he never “materialized”, only heard it.
After some years, I tried to convince myself I was just imagining it. That it must have to do with the sounds of other apartments. I never believed that, but its’ what I tried to tell my child mind so I could live harmoniously with the sound. I also never told anyone because I was certain people would think I was loopy and thought who would believe a child? I lived in that apartment for several years, and just became accustomed to his occasional “visits”. He wasn’t disruptive, well, to my sleep he was.
Some years later, after my family already moved to another apartment, I overheard my parents talking to some relatives at a party. My mother was explaining how she was glad to have gotten out of the old apartment and explained to the listeners how the first few nights there, her husband (my dad) would be up for several hours at a time with a huge knife in his hands following the footsteps of an invisible person walking in our apartment (she also mentioned the ghost sounded like one leg was being dragged!!!). She said her husband soon acknowledged it as a ghost, but followed it for several nights to make sure it wasn’t an “evil” spirit and was not trying to do harm to her kids. After some days of this ritual, her husband became satisfied that it meant no harm and he started to sleep through the night. 😯
So…I knew at that moment I wasn’t crazy because my parents experienced the same thing and what I went through now seemed validated. I just wish my father told me about the ghost when we lived there to spare me years of being scared to go to bed at night! My poor sister, she never understood why I always was awake at night (and wanting to keep the lights on, but she never let me 🙁 ) and why I was always tired in the morning.

OMG — that’s amazing! It would be really neat to actually see that stuff happening, but it would be pretty creepy too. Do you feel frightened at all, or have you gotten used to it?
January 29, 2007 at 1:13 am #532786Lokie, that’s a really strange and eerie experience! But are you saying that your sister couldn’t hear this ghost for some reason?
January 29, 2007 at 1:15 am #532787Naturally, I don’t think you are insane Lokie. Most people don’t believe my ghost stories, so I only tell people that ask about experiences. We told my Mom about the tree topper and she said it must have been the wind. 🙄 lol
I guess I’m not scared because everything that’s happened has been harmless. The creepiest is hearing the voices, I think. It’s like somebody talking in the next room so as not to disturb you. It’s definitely a male voice – you can tell that much, but you can’t hear what he is saying.
January 29, 2007 at 1:18 am #532788I’m glad my only ghost was my dog! 😯

And you should be glad that you didn’t hear his toenails clicking on the floor as he marched around at night….tik-a-tik-a-tik-a-tik-a-tik….

When my cat JouJou died I caught glimpses of him out of the corner of my eye for weeks, too. It was close to when I was moving out, so my husband said to leave room in a box and tell him to hop in and come with me. Maybe he listened and is my present ghost kitty:)
