SPark, I have to agree with the way you feel. I feel it’s somewhat immature. Also, the point that was brought up by another member that it was an adverstising ploy – well, that’s bad (if it’s true – sounding like it was from a couple of posts). I’m glad I learned something new, but I wish I understood the intentions of Art Slinger. Are you just using us as a marketing group, or do you want to discuss info about Windstones as a collector and a possible business partner with Windstone?
I wish you the best of luck, but as for me, please be more upfront. I don’t like feeling that there is something shady going on.
The Shade is on your mind.
I didn’t give the link because I’m not as proficient as you with this box.
You obviously are not into the occult at least deeply or anything pertaining to the Major Arcana. All the good stuff is always hidden. Ask Leonardo Da vinci.Art, I feel the need to point out, it’s comments like that which are not winning you any friends. That’s a really big assumption you are implying about Silver and you have no evidence to prove it other than Silver doesn’t understand what you are trying to get across. And to be honest, I’m having a similar hard time understanding what sort of emotional tone and what intent you are aiming for. Being ambiguous and mysterious can be useful but on the Internet it is too easy to go too far and I think that’s what you are doing. Especially since a lot of people in this crowd have expressed a desire to see you be straight-forward in explaining what you want.

A true witch or pagen anyway, does not really refer to anything as the occult or Major Arcana. That is what the teenagers and youth call it. And yes I am pagen myself, so while I don’t claim to be an expert, I don’t play at being a “witch” either.
And last of all…Leonardo De Vinci? Okay please step back a moment and realise that the whole De Vinci code thing is a book and a movie and not real. Its called fiction. You are coming across as a spammer at this point. Calm thyself and try to be yourself. No need to impress with your wit and turn of phrase.

Very well said. I think that is my continuing problem here. I now know what SG stands for, so the mystery has been cleared up, but still none of us have quite gotten a straight answer. I still have no idea if Art Slinger is an advertising agent, a Windstone retailer, a retailer of something else, an artist, a collector, or what…
It is sometimes a failing that I’m very straightforward. But although it does often risk being rude, at least one is always understood! Standing with one’s foot in one’s mouth, perhaps, but understood all the same! (And I apologize for letting myself get a little heated earlier, I hope I didn’t offend.)
January 28, 2007 at 9:05 pm #532764You know, Whippet, I was thinking that AS must be used to dealing with younger folks. That is the only group that this approach would work with and really, the target for this particular subject. Also, this is a Windstone forum… something we should all have in common, and I have yet to see AS talk about Windstone. This seems like a recruiting ploy. 😕 Perhaps we should let this topic just fade to the back. I dont like the directions its gone in. I find myself being kinda *Insert B-word-y here* and I dont like it.
January 28, 2007 at 9:26 pm #532765Windstone threads never die, they just mutate.
What should we turn this one into? We’ve already done insect porn, pets, cute pictures, politics, religion… what’s left?
January 28, 2007 at 9:27 pm #532766I’m afraid to ask!!! 😯 😯 😯

How about psychic phenomena, like precognition, ESP, etc.? I’ve always been intrigued by this sort of thing.Has anyone ever personally experienced something along these lines?
January 28, 2007 at 11:24 pm #532768Sometimes I’ll mention an idea that I have about something to one of my friends, only to find out they were thinking about the same thing. I don’t know if that counts… 😕
January 28, 2007 at 11:25 pm #532769Could be an example of telepathy…
January 28, 2007 at 11:43 pm #532770Although, I’m sure its not precognition, I occassionaly dream things that later I end up experiencing in real life. So I experience deja vu a lot. Anyone else have that?
I do believe in ghosts though.

I haven’t, but what you mentioned is really neat. Does it actually happen exactly as you dreamed it?

Have you had ever an experience with one? I never have, but I believe in them too, based on things that I’ve heard and read about.

And SG is an art company now? Im confused. If you want folks to join, just come right out and say it, so we can come right out and say “No.” That’ll end the ranting, dont you think? And our reactions are over the top? Whatev.
This is HISTORY, READ THE BLESSED THREAD.

Compatability is something I’m looking for.
A few weeks ago I brought a business deal to John, I’d thought he was maybe interested in an art company that prodused objects of art using the same materials and molding process. Both companies Windstone Editions need a boost in sales, I thought the two of them would make a good combination.
———————————————–I’m curious – does this other company have a website we can check out, or is everything “hush hush”, pending John’s approval? Windstones may be our common denominator, but many different sites and artists have been introduced and discussed here. As you’ve already experienced, we are an opinionated bunch – you can expect reviews from A+ to F- and everything in between.
The Deal was under consideration only briefly;…2 days? I guess I can send you there, (now John might think I’m trying to change his mind, by hijacking people’s attention to another );…Oh well I guess I’ve already done that.
http://WWW.ClayPlanetDesigns.com It’s “,fish with an attitude.” These were hijacked by Disney for “Finding Nemo”. Mike Quinn the artist launched a suit against them using the Johnny Cockron Law team.
Disney is too big and mean to beat in court.January 29, 2007 at 12:21 am #532774😯 Wow. This is one of the most rediculous threads I’ve ever seen on here.

I never mentioned the “mmovie, though I thought someone might fall in that hole.
I’m not a Pagan or Wicken, or A Satanist.
I have studied all of those things. Mostly a subject to me. H.P.Blavatsky referes to the Major Arcana, and I don’t think The Thosophical Society was full of teenies. I haven’t slept more than 5 hrs in three nights;..I’m way out of form, and I have behaved erraticly and not well. That’s my best excuse and I’m sticking to it. By the way I bombed you with the DiVinci thing, just for bringing it up after I’d hoped we’d killed it. I was a bit tipsy and my Dragon got loose. SORRY. -
