That sleep thing has happened to me too, but mostly when I was a kid. That hasn’t happened in a long time. Now, I have muscle twitches that make the bed jerk – and I may have a dream of falling or something like that at the same time. Hit the ground – BAM – bed jerks.
That happens to me a lot, especially when I know I’m only going to sleep for a short time. I’m drifting off, my brain kicks in an says “You know you’re not going to sleep for long, it’s better to stay awake,” I feel like I’m falling and try to catch myself. It feels really weird.

It’s only happened to me the once…which is probably strange, as I keep stupid, irregular sleeping hours all the time. My poor body is almost always suffering from either sleep deprevation or serious over sleeping!
Maybe you have a touch of Narcolepsy, a common sleep disorder. The none awakening body is a symptom, because of the disorder you can wake in R.E.M.s
In that most active part of your sleep the body is locked up to prevent you from acting out your dream.
This is pure science, It’s easy to look up.May 4, 2007 at 4:59 am #532823Just thought I’d finish this thread since I stupidly started it. As of 12 AM. California Time, on the 8th of May 2007, I will no longer be associated in any manner with said web site of this original query. I do not belong to any other web site, other than this one;..and of course the not very well maintained and developed one for my gallery. (I shall refrane from plugging).

Are you like always here?
I’m beginning to think so.
What time is it in your zone?
Prosperouspelican.com Yahoo is the easiest engine.
I’m picking out something to send, I’m adjusting to our mutual gender confusion. You thought I was female, I thought you were male. Pretty funny, really. I don’t care what your gender is , I think your a great person, and that’s all that matters to me. But it does affect my choices as to a proper token of appreciation, (but I’m not even sure as to how much. ) “Confusion will be my epitaph” ( King Crimson).May 4, 2007 at 5:20 am #532826I’m always here in the mornings, yeah. I do a lot of computer work, and I have the forum in the background for a distraction when I need a break.
It’s going on 0730 hours here.
And thanks for the link.May 4, 2007 at 5:32 am #532827Greater Basilisk wrote:I’m always here in the mornings, yeah. I do a lot of computer work, and I have the forum in the background for a distraction when I need a break.

And thanks for the link.actually it’s just an address, I’m still pretty computer stupid. it’s 24:30 here in Alabama. Thats like 17 hrs difference. Is that correct? This planet is pretty large to be such a small world.
May 4, 2007 at 9:30 am #53282817 hours’ difference to Alabama? Can’t be. 7, at most. Florida is 6 hours behind us.
And I added your store to my list of dealers.May 4, 2007 at 2:45 pm #532829Greater Basilisk wrote:17 hours’ difference to Alabama? Can’t be. 7, at most. Florida is 6 hours behind us.
And I added your store to my list of dealers.I went backwards with the time thing I guess, though I am sure that 17 + 7= 24.
Thanks for putting me on your list.
I didn’t actually come here to plug my store, or sell anything.(no one can believe that, I’m sure)
But if that’s how it turns out, so be it.
“As it is”May 4, 2007 at 4:09 pm #532830Ok, I’m so lost…….

This thread morphed,(thank God), into something else.
this last exchange is mostly conversation.May 4, 2007 at 7:41 pm #532832Thread necromancy! (That’s what one of my old forums called it.) It’s when you add a comment to a thread that’s so old it’s not anywhere near the front page of threads anymore, and then you confuse the heck out of everybody, because they think it’s new, and it’s not.
Raising old threads from the dead!
May 4, 2007 at 7:44 pm #532833That’s fun. People see posts they made a long time ago and don’t remember them anymore and wonder how they got there. 😆
May 4, 2007 at 9:34 pm #532834Wouldn’t be the first time old thread resurrection has gotten me confused. 😆
May 5, 2007 at 4:32 am #532835I’ve posted the same info twice in a thread, too. 😆
