Any quilters?

I’ve recently gotten a job finishing quilts and making them! Since it’s really new to me and I’m still learning/being trained. I was wondering if anyone else does quilting? I’m finding that I really like it :D. The machine I work with for finishing is called the mega quilter so it’s easy to do the fancy stitching in a shorter amount of time.

I quilt, but it’s the “old fashioned” way where every thing is done by hand…

I quilt too, but I’m still in the learning stage-I put the top together on a machine and do the quilting by hand.

Your job sounds really fun though! 🙂

I do (did?) some, kinda like Wolfen, do the top on the machine and the rest by hand. I recently got a walking foot for my machine, so maybe when I can find the space and time (what is this ‘free time’ people speak of :p ) i can try again. 😀

Oh coool ! I’m glad there’s other who quilt to! I’ve been learning allot and I love it! I want to design my own scenery type quilts XD.

I’ve been quilting for a few years now. I machine piece and quilt, and put the binding on by machine, and then wrap it around and finish it by hand.

I also cross-stitch, and I just started knitting a month ago. 🙂
