Maybe copper patina. We are going to test them in a couple retail stores.
October 27, 2009 at 1:29 am #788816Oh wow! *whispers* Please let them be production….Please let them be production…*crosses fingers* squeek* Then maybe we won’t have to scramble the store like a bowl of eggs! 😮
October 27, 2009 at 3:35 am #788817Oh, yes! Please let the copper patina fledgies be production. I really, really want a dragon in that color, (crossing my fingers on being lucky enough to get an OW in that color). My luck bites when it comes to catching stuff in the store. I already missed the first batch of copper patina curls 😥 (not that I can afford them right now anyways 😳 )

Wow, that was a really quick decision. The color just “debuted” just a few weeks ago and now they’ll be going to some stores.
October 27, 2009 at 5:22 am #788819I want a fledgie for sure! If you’re gonna test them in a few stone and mortar stores first can I request one from a store nearby me?

I know! Then again, it’s completely different from the regular production stuff and it seems to be working here, so why not take the plunge?
Read my books! Volume 1 and 2 of A Dragon Medley are available now.

I host the feedback lists, which are maintained by drag0nfeathers.
http://www.sarahjestin.com/feedbacklists.htmOctober 27, 2009 at 3:30 pm #788821From what I understand, with all of the casting issues, Windstone hasn’t been able to resupply retail stores with stock as much as they would want to. This would be a good way to start. Plus, it gives them a chance to try this new color out and see if it’s going to be a popular one. I always wondered how a color gets picked to be a regular production color, anyways  . Maybe this is how it starts….
October 27, 2009 at 6:06 pm #788822Makes sense. If this becomes production and sells, it would be a good outlet for imperfect casts, since the copper patina is designed to highlight those imperfections.

Sun Dragon Koi #3November 1, 2009 at 6:04 pm #788823Yeah, the point of the copper patina color is that it is a distressed finish that will make use of slight defects, such as water marks, that would other wise make us waste the casting. These guys look wonderful in copper p. with the watermarks (and some random pock marks, and divots) enhanced with patina. We have a few fledglings in this category, but not tons of them.

sweet!
I got to admit, i think i could get quite a few dragons in copper patina. I wasn;t as drawn to the other colors out so far as much as this one.November 1, 2009 at 6:45 pm #788825Melody wrote:azurielle wrote:New fledgies? Copper patina, or Silver hopefully?

*crosses fingers for a retail store near me…. lol 😆 * Only way I’ll get one… haha.
November 1, 2009 at 8:34 pm #788826Oh wow, if this became a production color that would be sweeeet! I’m already in love with my curlie in this color!
Way to go, Melody! 😀November 1, 2009 at 8:54 pm #788827The fledgie is one of my favorites any chance of the coming to a store near me or anywhere in Florida?
