For our Francophones here, I found out that antiquing is “patiner” in French.

Why on earth would I want to know this, you ask? I’m propably going to have to explain it to my mother-in-law, who’s English is very limited. “Antiquing” as a painting technique in NOT part of her vocabulary.

Anyway, just an FYI. Yeah, I’m a translator. I nit-pick with words all the time. 🙄

Patiner. That makes sense. It’s close enough to “patina.”
