I baited a store in my small town here.
While getting my prescription filled at the local pharmacy/gift shop..I decided I was going to approach the owner,Ken, and Windstones. I wrote the site info,email, and phone number down…and put my BG young and two pyo’s in my bag…
and I waited there for my perscription to be filled. I have never spoken to Ken..the owner..yet he knows me because for the past 6 years I have had all sorts of prescriptions for antibiotics and antihistamines and all sorts of other drugs. He knows I am one sick kid..and my mom has talked to him.
The lady called my name as my prescription was up…and I thought quick..I did not like the idea of speaking out loud in front of the ladies that worked there..but I was not going to get another chance. So as I took my painkillers and meds I said,” Hay Ken, Why have I not seen any Windstones sold here?”
and evidently the girl who never speaks and is always sick caught his attention….as well as the attention of all the ladies and a few customers that were there.He had no idea what they were..and so I explained to him about the figurines, candle lamps, candle holders, and other stuff this wonderful artist makes. How they are very popular and there is a whole community of us collectors online that buy,trade, and avidly collect these wonderful pieces of art. Every one told me to write down the info..he wanted to give it to his wife to check..So I took out the piece of paper I had written the info on…which got a laugh of amusement from every one.”she already had it written down!”
But ken did take it. I did not pull out the dragons..since his wife was not there and SHE is the one that shops. She loves getting new stuff for the store….but he assured me to keep an eye for windstones in the store. So I feel quite satisfied that most likely another store will now have windstones.
That is cool. I hope you took his info down and sent it to Susie and then you can get something out of it as well.
I sent sussie the adress and phone number of the store.
I am going to wait and see if they REALLY will add windstones to thier store first before I say what one I want……honestly I wish thier were some moon colored dragons…but oh well. still….no saying what I want until it is confirmed that the store will take windstones..
I am really sure they will, but I won’t count my dragons before they hatch.
