We all know you have a lot of animals, but which one has the most weird or funny name?
for example…I once met two cats..both orange and white, they were brother and sister…and named Macaroni and Cheese. Because they were always hanging out together. 😆

June 23, 2008 at 2:04 am #716943A friend of mine has a cat named “Little One” she just responds to that one…
My parents (when I was a kid until I was about 16) named Mothball – she was a black and white small thing.
They also had two calico/tabby marked cats named Sugar and Spice – Sugar was mostly white with a bit of calico and even less tabby, and Spice was mostly tabby with a bit of calico and even less white.
And their big german shep X named Pixie, but we didn’t choose that one.

June 23, 2008 at 4:38 am #716946My sister’s Pomeranian is named “Poopie” or “Poop” for short. I love hearing her outside yelling at her when she’s barking at kids or whatever.
“POOP! POOP! QUIET POOP! GET IN THE HOUSE POOP!

Haha! My coworker in times past had a dog named the same thing. It was really a riot.

June 23, 2008 at 3:41 pm #716950my sister has a shnauzer (however you spell it)..
and named him Landon… well Landon likes to chase joggers…
and about a month ago while I was there helping get the baby’s room ready Landon took off chasing this young guy that was jogging.. with his shirt off…
and at first I was gonna chase the dog… and then suddenly thought…
how would that look me running after this sweaty half naked guy yelling… “Landon come back”…
well my sister thought it was hilarious and said…
what about “Landon… don’t leave Landon.. Landon come back”…
everyone thought it was so funny… they wished I would have…
what happened to just naming dogs “spot” or “rover”…LOL
June 23, 2008 at 3:43 pm #716951our dog has a pretty cliche name…just Shadow. Since we named him that I’ve met at least 10 other dogs with that name…all of them are black though. 🙂

June 23, 2008 at 3:55 pm #716953*another cat* growing up our mama cat’s name was ‘Cheaper Than Mouse Traps’ ’cause we got her for free and she caught all the mice. We also had Abby, which sounds like a plain enough name unless you know the whole thing; she was a Manx kitty and we called her Abby because she had ‘Abby-solutely no tail’. Then there was Fred, short for Freddie Kruger. He chased cars, sent numerous neighborhood dogs to the vet and attacked people too. He got our friends daughter right between the eyes; took seven stitches to close her up. Her dad said it was a good thing; it kept her from being so vain; kept her mirror time to a minimum…

June 23, 2008 at 6:39 pm #716954I knew a cat that would routinely send dogs to the hospital, she would latch her front paws behind the ears and scratch out the nose. Let’s say it only ever happened once per dog.
Sugar and Spice had a funny way to fight dogs. Spice, who had a heart condition and couldn’t do much, would sit behind the dog. Just sit there, while Sugar would be in front of the dog attacking it’s face. The dog was so scared of what Spice was doing that it would end up running away without fighting back.
So hijack. Back to your original funny names programming!
