This bidder 1,2,3 thing is crap~ I cant see who is outbidding me so I cant rag on em. No fun AT ALL!

That might be one of their motives…try to increase the final selling price by helping to ensure that no decides not to bid because they see that a friend has already bid on it…
Actually it is ebay’s idea. If you look at the OW thread it will tell you that things over $200 will have the bidder 1, bidder 2 thing…and at the end it will say who the winner is.
Oh, that’s what I meant…that Ebay is trying to increase the final selling price since they get a share of it…
That is what the link said…it has to do with is the fake second chance offers. But anything is possible.
