hehe , well after he has a sit down with Kadoffie , Kim Jong-il and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad our allies may completely shun us , we already look bad to the world but hanging out with rouge countries and kissing their butts like Obama wants to do will just make us hated even more

I think we’ve already been shunned at this point! LOL! They’re just trying to keep it a secret

On a slightly upbeat note, his win means that the next election will be all but dropped into Palin’s lap
Still waiting for california’s results on the props and such. Lucky east-coasters.

Thank you, Chessapeaka. Regardless of which side of the fence you are on, we have made history.
November 5, 2008 at 4:56 am #738724it’s funny though so many people are disappointed… yet know so little about politics in general…and what’s really at stake
no one seems to remember that the last Democrat in the White House actually balanced the budget, there was no national debt.. and everyone had money in their pockets..
and right now, there’s a tremendous national debt, and no one has money…
my European friends are so excited because if it had gone the other way…. the world economy would have suffered greatly… (amazing how other countries know more about American Politics than Americans)
Of course I’m not going to say I’m in favor of any one person over another… but the World economy was holding it’s breath over the election.. and a lot of people seem to think how it turned out, will help the economy…
unfortunately we all have to wait and see..
November 5, 2008 at 5:05 am #738725Yes, we made history and we will have to wait and see just how much more history we will make in the future. frozen, you’re right… but for some reason I think this was a raw deal election anyway. Both have different way of getting more money from us taxpayers, some sneaker or less ethic then others, but either way. We would have our gripes with some of the decisions either one made at some point. For now it’s time to sit back and enjoy the ride. It’s certainly going to be interesting to say the least!

then since the Dems have had control over the house and senate over the last couple years , where is the balance they can veto anything the president brings to the table ( im no lover of Bush ) . The Clinton administration was almost cut in half with Dems and Reps in the house and Senate with a few more on the Rep side . Why shouldn’t i be disappointed my guy lost and i do know a thing or two about politics
November 5, 2008 at 5:13 am #738727I hate politics! Neither one wants to do whats right for the people.
