FINISHED!…
November 18, 2007 at 6:04 am #636177that is so awesome lol when I first saw the “inspiration” I laughed and thought that was going to look so funny, but you did a WONDERFUL job on it! It looks so cool!
November 18, 2007 at 8:30 am #636178lol! Thanks!!!
November 18, 2007 at 9:29 am #636179I wasnt diggin it at first, but the end result is really cool! Just like the frog! Well done!
November 18, 2007 at 10:37 am #636180You did a really great job: -)
November 18, 2007 at 2:10 pm #636181Wow! That was fast! It felt like just yesterday that you ordered it and I posted in here- though now thart I think about it I remember saying I was late to post about eye color.
Anyway, my goodness how spectacular! You didnt make it look campy and did a smooth and consistent job! Are you selling him, seeing how much you love the frog? Did you fall in love with your Galatea? I think I got that right.
If you do sell, that baby should sell really well if all is right in the world… or even if all is mediocre!
LOVE HIM!!! Good on ya for such a wonderful piece- really! Great job with superior detailing that is spot on (no pun intended). Thanks for sharing!! Im inspired
November 18, 2007 at 2:16 pm #636182Forgot to add thanks for the play by play photos. For me it acts as a tutorial from excellent painters, and gives me tips I can incorporate into my amateur painting. Thank you for taking the time to do that.
*Side note: like GB said, I notice the weirdest stuff but did that candle change colors in the background from purple to green?
And are you a real “Ford” person?! Just askin’ since Im biased as I have a Mustang (and despite my love of black horses, no the car isnt black- too dark in FL)! Punchy tangent, I know
November 18, 2007 at 7:35 pm #636183Thank you all very much!
PT… you are very welcome for the play by play photos. I am going to keep him for now, maybe forever. I really like the way he turned out!
As for FORD… yes, that is all I have ever owned. My husband works at a local Ford dealership in Parts.
My cars have been a 74 Ford Maverick, 87 Ford Bronco II, my last is a 93 full size Bronco (My 3rd child) and my husband has currently bought (Bought??? NO, currently paying for) a 06 Ford Fusion (A nice car for being a car! LOL)
November 19, 2007 at 2:42 am #636184Hi Serenity, I really like how your dragon turned out. He’s beautiful! Are you cross-eyed yet?
The more I look at him the more I find that something is missingto tie it all together. To much green in the frontal scales area and the neck and not enough blue to tie in the eyes.. I would add some blue in those areas, the same blue as the horns. Just a suggestion.November 19, 2007 at 3:12 am #636185Oh, he is soooo awesome!!! Cool! I love the inspiration too!
