Are you going to do all the dragons in amytheist? I wasn’t sure I liked it on the curlie but it seem to have evolved now that it’s on the fledgling. Do you feel like it has changed on the other sculpt? How long until you decide if it is production or not? I’d love to see what it looks like on the bigger dragons. Scratchers, old warriors, laps…everything 😀 please! squeek* squeek* squeek*

We’ve painted Amethyst on a few different dragons so far… like all the colors , it looks different on each sculpt.
The Amethyst curlie color pattern is actually the most complex because it switches from purple with a blue-violet spine to blue-violet with a purple spine.
We aren’t sure if we will ever do Amethyst as “production”, but we probably will do dragons from every style in that color, eventually!
Since we don’t have large nmbers of any particular dragon mold, we are painting small batches of several different dragons in amethyst.
We just finished a some Males, and Orientals and we are working on Coiled mothers and Young Orientals in this color.

not sure about production?
well, I got to say…the black golds did not grab…and even the red fire is kinda,”eh” for me. i like it but not a “WOW got to have it!”
When i got the amythest curly i was unsure on how i liked it..but it grew on me…. but when i went into the store and saw it on the male dragon I had that,” OMG WANT!” reaction. I think that is a color i would devote getting all the dragons in and i am not a big purple person.
the gold with the orange eyes and then the blue, just….lovely! I hope to get the male dragon some time later…..but really…..wow….. I is hard to hold myself back from my paypal.
