My friends and family thinks I’m nuts for wanting to foster parent and I was wondering if anyone out there has had experience with it? With the way I grew up I’ve wanted badly to make a difference to kids who need someone. Thoughts?
I have been wanting to be a foster parent as well, but the law requires me to be married or single and I can’t live with my bf. I had a friend who was a foster parent for a while, but she got attached to the child and couldn’t adopt her because her mom wanted her back. She said she would never do it again. Right now, I think adopting would be best for us.
