I like Nam’s idea. I wouldn’t mind pm’ing people if I know they’re looking and I don’t need it.

I really don’t care. But, if I’ve spent hours (and I have) going through listing then I’d be super peeved that someone blabbed the listing that I found. I’ve found a few before but normally it dosen’t work out for me. Most of the hidden auctions seem to be only for the US.

I took the middle, neutral option. In some cases it’s helpful, like when Ski warned other members about the poor condition of some hidden pieces. I don’t tend to bid if I see another forum member is after the item – unless it’s an SE – but that’s just me. The best way is probably PM and brag about it afterwards, yes.
