After puzzling and puzzling over what colors to do this fellow, I let my natural instincts win. I love brown earthy dragons! And I was always taken by how much his wings look like leaves…

In progress. The eye is just stuck in there so he didn’t have a gaping hole… I dunno what eye color I’ll use yet.

I’m thinking I’ll make his wings and crest green like the Copper Fern emperor! 🙂

He’s still a mess… been working on him for a while.

Niiiice! And I never did notice about the leaf-shaped wings… mind you, I’ve only had my OW for a few weeks.

Never having been the patient type to begin with, I too, can’t wait to see how he turns out. Although I’m more partial to the blues/greens, I’m sure this guy is going to be absolutely stunning! 8)

I think earth tones for this handsome fellow was always the best 8) , but I have to admit he’s one of my fav sculpts so any color is nice on him. I can’t wait to see him completed 😀

Not fair, he looks like he will tie in with the brown family nicely and I don’t have an OW, and there will be no way I can afford this guy, so unfair!

He’s gorgous so far though, I look forward to seeing him done.
