I found a couple of really cute GUND Blankets that I would like to get my sister for her baby. Unfortunately, one has been retired and I have had very little luck in finding the other, so was wondering if I could ask help finding these items
First
Poneigh Comfy Cozy
My sister is a horse nut and this is just too cute. It has been retired but I was hoping if an of you see it yo could let me know?
Second
Tiger Comfy Cozy
My sister loves Tigger and when I saw this I thought it would be great for her or the coming baby. I haven’t had any luck finding it in Stock in North America.
I intend to keep hunting for them and will let you know if I find them but since I know some of you have small kids or are expecting I thought I’d try asking for help 😛 The baby isn’t due till April so no rush but I don’t like leaving things to the last minute.
THANKS in advance!
September 5, 2007 at 4:00 pm #613673Those are so cute! And Gunds to boot, so you know they’re soft.
I have a possible second option for you. I really liked the taggies blankets, and decided that they were way too pricey, so knowing jack-all about sewing, I made blankets with different ribbons/tags for my 1st born & several friends’ babies (and bad me, haven’t made one for my son yet). I am NOT volunteering to make these, but I’ve seen SPark’s work and even though she hasn’t posted much lately, I wonder if you could commission her to make something similar for your sister’s baby. What you’d pay for a retired blanket (and what are the chances you’d find one new?) may well be comparable to what a commission price would be (I have no idea, but worth checking out?). Just a thought.September 5, 2007 at 4:15 pm #613674Poneigh Comfy Cozy

LinkIf this doesn’t work, let me know, I’ll take a look at the store near me this weekend. They may possibly have one.

September 5, 2007 at 11:49 pm #613676I’ll be sure to keep my eye open for you. 🙂
While hiding somewhere in my head I'm on the lookout for white oriental dragons! Please let me know if you know of any available. Thank you!
September 7, 2007 at 1:14 am #613677Thanks! 😀
bosky – I sew alot and could probably make one but the sister is a bit of a “label baby”. ‘Sides buying is easier and involves less stress and swearing 😉

Ha! My sister too! She’d ask where I got certain things for my kids & I’d say, “thrift store” and she’d just say, “Oh.” and drop it 😆
