WOW! Last Monday night I had the joy of attending a performance of, in my opinion, a Canadian National Treasure. The five piece brass ensemble known as Canadian Brass were in Seattle’s Benaroya Hall under the auspices of the Seattle Symphony for two concerts.
They were sensational. If you ever get a chance to see this group run, don’t walk, to the nearest ticket window. Not only are they superb musicians they are wonderful entertainers as well. And when they let their hair down they are hysterically funny. I laughed myself silly during their “Tribute to the Ballet”.
The Canadian Brass is great and it’s good to hear that someone asides from us Canadians think so 😀
Here’s the website fro people to check them out!Another group that you might like to check out are the a capella group ‘The Heebee Jeebees’. We had them at the concert hall here last night and they are great singers, but also like to throw comedy into their stuff. 😀
