UPDATE 6/8/2010: Listed on eBay – no takers here but ya’ll are welcome to check out my eBay auctions!
http://cgi.ebay.com/WINDSTONE-Editions-RUBY-OLD-WARRIOR-DRAGON-Statue-/180517763102?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a07b2781eAll with hangtags, and boxes (tho I am missing the top cushion for one scratcher and am still looking for it).
One dragon has the paint issues and more resembles the red fire dragon coloring, the other is as a ruby should be, I am selling it for someone else. I picture them side by side for comparison. No scrapes, chips, nicks OR repairs!

Hiya drag0n! Well, he is fairly dark, the flash may have washed it out somewhat – I should try and get a picture outside to post. Yeah! Will do that a bit later, on my way out the door right now. 🙂
May 31, 2010 at 11:34 pm #816470Capturing the Ruby coloration is pretty hard. D: I fiddled around with lighting and a lightbox quite a bit, and still don’t feel like the pictures I took of mine are completely true to life. 6.6
If you’re going to take some outside, I wouldn’t go for direct sunlight. The highlights off that could be as bad as flash. You could soften it up with a white sheet…that way the light would still be white, just not…glaring. Or you could turn off the flash inside, if you had a tripod (best $30 – or less – you will ever spend), or a surface to sit the camera on? Setting the timer is better if you try either of those – you don’t want your hand on the camera when it takes the picture. And (indirect) natural light is better, because the incandescent bulbs in a lamp will give it a yellow tint. I dunno what it would look like under those strange-colored energy-efficient lights…we haven’t got any. c.c; But probably odd.
Good luck. o.ov I look forward to seeing more pictures. 😀
June 1, 2010 at 12:12 am #816471AnonymousOkay! Here are some pictures I took outside (in bright sunlight) but with no flash, of the Old Warrior:

Male Hearth....one day🤞Dream on.June 10, 2010 at 5:36 am #816477I read the title and wondered how one could have six-eighths of an OW for sale…
Good luck selling; they’re both pretty.June 10, 2010 at 2:01 pm #816478Honestly, if I could afford it, I’d be all over the faded scratcher. I like the color.
June 13, 2010 at 5:14 am #816479I sure wish I could…But alas, since the last I talked to you, I have spent all that I had saved up. 😳 (I am horrible with my stash…I get in a spending nature and away it goes!) Although Scott is going to let me make a 1700’s Gentleman’s Frock Coat and long vest (Ok, so I bought a copy of Casanova on DVD…I forgot how in love I was with the outfits of that time period! Now, let’s see THAT clothing retro like the 70’s and 80’s have!) once we get ahead a bit…And I get caught up with other things more pressing. 😉 (Hence the reason for me not being on much. 🙁 )
