Here is the latest Spirit Wolf in the series, his name is “Amaroq”. He was commisioned, so I let the commisioner pick the name for him, I thought it was only fair. She got the name from the Book called “Julie and the Wolves”. She wanted this one to go along with the first Spirit Wolf one she bought. She has made them mates! I think that is a CUTE idea. Anyhow, here he is, let me know what you think guys….there is more pictures in the gallery area too. I included a WIP pic to show the tans in the wings since the finished pics dont pick it up because of all the black I think. I HATE that! Spend 200 on a GOOD camera and it takes crappy pics LMAO π !! Anyhow let me know what you think, I value all your comments and compliments they mean ALOT to me π π³ ! There is 4 more left of this wolf if anyone is interested. This is #1 of #5. If youd like to see the LARGE pictures and more WIP pics, go to this link:

Here is the condensed version of all the pics! You can see them individually in the Gallery area π
April 3, 2007 at 6:59 am #558165Wow! I like this one alot. The color of the fur and the tan (upper) part of the wings are the best. π
April 3, 2007 at 9:10 am #558166Thanks Ski! π
I just wish the tan showed up in the finished pictures πΏ , its looks SO awesome with the black trimming on the feathers. He is off to his new home tomorrow π I am sad to see him go too, he was one of my faves! π― π
OH WELL!!! There will ALWAYS be more right!? πNOW, off I go to finish that KiRin thats been a pain in my butt for the last…ummm…DAMN been TOO long LOL. I will post him too when done. Its Native American Pinto looking as well, he’s almost done just have to put the last touches on it and then take some pre-pics to see if the person that ordered it likes it (whimpers, “I hope so”). GOD I put alot of hours into this KiRin LMAO π π― ! These KiRins for some reason like to fight me and the brushes! LMAO!
April 3, 2007 at 10:17 am #558167Wow, DC! That’s your best wolf yet! I love her, especially those wings. You need to do one in just those brown-barred wings, too, now.
What does Amaroq come from?April 3, 2007 at 12:03 pm #558168Yeah, I liked the brown part of the wings. I still like it, but the black is not to my taste π
April 3, 2007 at 1:21 pm #558169Lovely coloring, and feather!! What a cute idea, to have a matching set! π
April 3, 2007 at 2:36 pm #558170I really like this wolf too. The brown blending on the fur is very nice and the black marks on the white wings are interesting… they grab the eye. I also like the tribal markings and the addition of the feathers on this one. Very pretty.

What does Amaroq come from? Thanks so much GB & Everyone else π I appreciate your comments π , he was my fave yet. Amaroq came from a book called “Julie and the Wolves” (read above the first pic π ) I thought I would let the commisioner pick the name. I thought it would be only fair.
So, GB you think I should do a wolf with brown barred wings (GAWD those wings took FOREVER to do π― π !)? Maybe I should have done this one like that, but I was going for the eagle/falcon look. Except you cant make out the brown in the wings in the condensed pics….Ggrrrr….that irritates me LOL! I read a couple of the picture taking threads and am going to try some of the ideas out. Well, next time LOL, he’s already boxed and on the porch for pickup! π π

Thanks Emerald π , although there is brown on the wings, not just white and black (STUPID…STUPID camera! π ) I thought it turned out awesome! I hate to let it go π . I did another almost like him, shes in my gallery if you want to check her out, she’s Husky looking with irridecent wings and real feathers as well. She had real pheasant and goose down (sp) feathers. The both of them are currently owned by the same person and said to be mates! I think that is SUCH an awsome Idea….
Everyone…..think I should make them and then sell them by the pair…they would be ALMOST the same sept with different tribal markings and names??? IF you all like this idea, care to give me some ideas? I think that would be kinda cool π ….whatcha think? Thanks for the Idea BP! π π

April 3, 2007 at 8:50 pm #558175I really like the face mask and the wings. Is the face mask red or pink?
April 4, 2007 at 12:33 am #558176Thank you, It is red with blue trim around it, wanted it to match/go along with the pattern on his leg.

Aw, ok. I was going to suggest making it red because it shows up as darker pink. π
