Alright, I have the prize for the second photo contest. I am offering a small birman LP flap cat. GB? You in charge of the photos? We can get the rules again… Photo must have been taken by the entrant, etc etc… *scratches head* Who’s in charge here?

Any specific subject? Any time line of taking the photos (within the past year?)?
Is it the Bat-Winged or the Bird-Winged one?

Is it the Bat-Winged or the Bird-Winged one?Its a bird wing. Winner can sell it or keep it, whichever they prefer. I dont know exactly what rules there are… I know the pic has to be taken by the entrant, and it has to be authentic (no photoshop, etc…) I would think the pic should be recent, but I cant remember if that was a rule last time. I know we talked about rules when the last one ended… Maybe Nam or GB will stumble over here eventually and clarify. 🙂
Should there be a rule about not re-entering the same photo as last time?

I dunno. I suppose the winner should not enter a pic that already won, but I am sure Nam will have no problem with that. 🙂
I won’t enter this time! I entered last time just for the fun, had no idea I’d win!!
How does this sound for rules:
1. Photo must be part of the theme. Ski can choose the theme!
2. You may only enter with a photo you’ve taken yourself.
3. You may not edit or manipulate the photo in any way beyond what can be done in a traditional darkroom.*
4. Your entry photo should have been taken within the last three years (sounds reasonable?)
5. When submitting your photo please make sure to submit the title of the photo (it can be ‘untitled’ if you wish) along with your real name and contact info. Only (Skigod) will know your contact info and name so that voting will remain anonymous.
6. All photo entries must be submitted by (whatever date) to be considered for voting.
7. Have fun!*- Traditional darkroom techniques include minor adjustments to contrast/brightness and some minor use of dodge/burn tool if necessary. Photos should remain as untouched as possible.

You’re welcome to put down a copyright line on them, because once I’ve collected all the photos by the deadline that Ski gives us, I’ll be posting them to a Photobucket folder, so that I can then post them here on the forum and y’all can vote on your favorite. After the contest is over, the Photobucket folder will be taken down again.

Love the rules. 😉 As for a theme, I am biased to animals. 😆 I am not sure if that is a theme… I like the idea that everyone can take a pic of whatever they like, but that may not be fair to more amateur photographers…I dunno. What do ya’ll think?
