2024 calendar contest!

Let’s do another calendar!
If you would like to enter the contest to have your photo included in the 2024 Windstone calendar, here is what to do:

1. Take some awesome photos of your Windstones.
2. They need to be 300 dpi to print.
3. Email them to me: reptangle@gmail.com
4. save as jpegs or PNGs
…aaand here are some rules and suggestions:

A horizontal ( landscape) image will fit the calendar format best.
Maximum of 4 photos per entry. (so I don’t get overwhelmed with photos )
The deadline for entering is October 31 at midnight.

I will choose 13 photos for the calendar.
The Windstones need to be well-lit, not overexposed, and in sharp focus.
Choose a nice-looking background
No date stamps please, but If you do have a great photo that has a date stamp, I can remove it with Photoshop.
Holiday /seasonal themes are great.

PYOs are welcome. If the painter isn’t you, I will need permission from the painter to use the PYO in the calendar.

Don’t include people or non-Windstone art ( little yellow ducks are ok ) unless it is your original art and you give us permission to use it in the calendar. (This is for copyright reasons )
Pets are ok to include as long as they look happy and healthy. Or evil. Cats can look evil.
Fuzzies are ok!
By entering you give Windstone Editions permission to modify the photos if necessary to fit the format or correct minor things that need fixing, and to use your image(s) in the yearly calendar we will sell on Zazzle.
I will include the winners’ names with the images. Let me know if you prefer your real name, Windstone forum name, or both.

One photo will be chosen for the cover. I’ll choose one that has room in the corner for the Windstone logo and year.
