Aww… Try and look on the bright side. The fact that the riser sold for $1k should hopefully encourage P.S. to paint more Poison Dart Frog dragons. *fingers crossed*
I certainly hope so! I was watching that auction and praying that nobody would bid above $500, but clearly lots of other people thought he was the most gorgeous Riser ever. I’m glad for Windstone’s sake, but sorry to have been left in the dust at the starting gate as far as bidding was concerned.
I think it’s the combination of the lovely green and white with that lightning-bolt squiggle of vivid purple racing down the length of the dragon from nose to tail that really brings out the pose. It makes him look like he’s ready to leap. SO COOL! :love:
