May 26, 2007 at 9:37 am #581239Yum! That looks good – though I’m not sure about the spotty cheese. Is that cheddar?
May 26, 2007 at 12:26 pm #581240was the pineapple supposed to go in the dish or was it just decoration for the ingredients?

Most likely it’s co-jack cheese, which is a mix of colby and monterey jack cheeses. It’s one of my favorite cheeses.
May 26, 2007 at 4:39 pm #581243Never heard of it, but I suppose I’ll keep a lookout for it when I’m in the States. 😀

they add weird coloring agents here in the USA….in Europe….they still have it…it’s just not colored like that…
like when I was in London….chedder cheese isn’t neon orange like it is here….
LOL
May 27, 2007 at 10:20 am #581246Man, I had to go out to the store and buy ingredients for this! Talk about advertising that works!
May 27, 2007 at 5:13 pm #581247You forgot the green chiles!
We very much enjoyed version 2a (that would be w/chile). If you want to trade, will send you a shipment of chile to Edmonton 😉 . And it can be done; we lived there for 2 years and were never w/o our chiles 🙂 .May 28, 2007 at 8:26 am #581248Anonymous

I don’t think cheddar is even regularly available here. Of course, I don’t look for it. Why take cheddar when there are 30 much healthier local cheeses to choose from?
May 28, 2007 at 1:25 pm #581250That’s a lot of different cheeses 😯 What are they, if you don’t mind my asking…. 😕
