  1. The relationship definitely is reaching new heights (or depths), but it still seems as though the animosity is mostly from Pol. Kade doesn’t come across as the type to carry a grudge.

  2. Random questions completely unrelated to anything on this page … Did Lark have a poad partner? If so, to extend it further, do all veligents work with poads?

  3. Yes all Veligents have poads. The young, aspiring Veligent students in Kade’s class were picking their first training poads.( those kids are characters that will appear at other times in the Reptangle story)
I haven’t quite worked this out, but yes, Lark’s poad is the white Oma poad that hatched Podge. Her name is Lady Cinager ( or something that sounds like that) She’s the queen poad.
The plot hole is … if Lark had a poad, and the lady-guards ( Mindle, Peather, and Jory) apparently knew Lark well, how come they didn’t know all about poads when they saw one??
I guess because Lark always needed to leave Cinager at home to take care of the brood chamber, so she didn’t join him in the field. She has a higher calling.

  4. These are Reptanglian salps, which are named after the real salps in our world, that they resemble.

About real salps, from wikipedia: “Salps are barrel-shaped, planktonic tunicates. They move by contracting, thus pumping water through their gelatinous body. The salp strains the pumped water through its internal feeding filters, feeding on phytoplankton.”

From my made-it-up-ipedia: Reptanglian salps are one-eyed, clear, gelatinous, bag-like pickle creatures that absorb stains and spiritual bad vibes. A good salping will improve one’s attitude greatly, and leave you sparkling clean.
