ARGH! As I feared, I can’t read some of the words in the top right hand panel. Too small. I will fix that ( and what ever other typos you find) when I get a chance.
Kade says: “Parades are fun!” Serence is saying “Not for everyone”
The tiny words are just Kade saying “come on, Snip”
In the frame talking about praying and what you pray for there is a little confusion to me as to the order you read them in. Maybe staggered smaller to larger…i dunno. I to love this gradient you used. It gives it a really smoke surreal feel to the images and it gives a great effect.
Thank you, Purplecat!( this won’t let me reply under your comment for some reason) I am so glad you think so. After staring at this page for a marathon weekend I’ve lost the ability to judge it.
No, not intentionaly, but it looks that way to me too. Not sure why…might be some jpeg compression artifact. This is a recurring problem. When I zoom in, there is all kinds of crud.
If I am reading that frame correctly, the top two word balloons are to be read in order left to right and both from Serence. Maybe there is some way you could make it one balloon with white-space between the sentences to indicate the pause between them. (at least I think that is what you are trying to indicate by using the separate balloons?)
As for typos, other than copying the text into something that spell checks, try reading it backwards word by word. It makes you look at the word instead of at the sentence. Learned that way back in typing class and it actually works, at least for me. 🙂 Of course it doesn’t help with grammar/sentence construction or homonyms (words that sound alike but are spelled differently)…

I think it turned out nice. Granted, the words in those balloons are a bit small, but the page works out nicely as a whole.

I think I know how to fix word-balloon-order-problem. I’ll try to work on it tonight.

The only thing (other than the word balloons) is that in the 6th box, it should be “could have” or the contraction would be “could’ve” not “could of”
Does Serence actually have a hooked (not straight) nose in panel 4, or does it just look that way at this resolution?

Wow, the things I learn! I never knew that. I’ll fix it when I fix everything else.

Oh ! Good tip! Thank you!
I am re-doing the word balloons.
Now that you have fiddled with the page, it doesn’t look hooked anymore, at least not to me on my small laptop screen.
It looks OK to me too (on my desktop monitor).
Yeah, deleting and uploading a new page seems to of fixed it. I didn’t do anything else to it! Weird.
Aww, Serence is a good brother! Really nice page with wonderful character development. 🙂
Thank you so much!
