LOL! Serence accusing Kade of being immature, pot calling kettle, you’re black! LOL! This is becoming quite amusing. Going to be interesting to see what Ayonah has to say about this.
It is supposed to be a continuation of the previous point of disagreement. Siblings have been observed to go on for hours, or days about the same issue.
That is what I figured, but I still found “Do not” and “Do too” jarring. However, that probably is just me. I was the eldest of three, so I know all about uppity younger siblings that don’t stay in their places, or listen to their elders! 🙂
Maybe I should of left the “did not -did too” speech balloons floating separately, so they don’t connect with larger balloons. That might make it more understandable -that they are part of the previous point-?
Yes, that would probably help give the sense of an ongoing dispute. The balloons as drawn say “Do not” and “Do too”, did you mean to have them saying “Did not” and “Did too” instead?
I hope I have not sounded too critical (I didn’t mean to). I think this is a great panel! I love the conference in the upper left corner, the body language of the characters, and the realistic sibling interaction. The little balloons just struck me wrong. However I may be the only person to react that way, so maybe nothing needs to be changed at all.
I need to redraw them. They do say “DID NOT” and “DID TOO”, but at this resolution the i’s disappeared and the “D” looks like an O.
I’ll change this stuff tonight, when I get a chance!
OH heavens no!! I am so happy that you are helping me with this!!
It is difficult to see what others do, I mean, since I know what they are saying I don’t notice if it reads differently to others!
Ahhhh I remember these days with my own siblings…not fondly….being the youngest and always being underestimated and them thinking because they were older that they were superior somehow! Being the youngest does not make you incompetent….simply younger!! They will have more wrinkles than me earlier HEHEHE 🙂
I just love the way you manage to get the emotion across so easily and you can feel the tense air surrounding them. Bravo…this is not an easy feat when using only text and imagery. The “Tone” comes through really well and the way the characters are drawn shows what they are feeling brilliantly.
I changed this page, if you are still seeing the old version click “Refresh” in your browsers bar. Maybe that will get rid of your cached version. The position of the word bubbles at the very bottom still need some tweaking, I tend to read them in the wrong order.
Yes, I spelled “LOSE” wrong!
Should the last little balloons be “Am not” and “Are too”?. As in “I am not afraid I would lose” … “You are too”.

They bicker like brothers! When’s Ayonnah going to step in and get it all sorted out? Our Vigilent has proved his worth to Ayonnah, but Serence….
Looking forward to the next pages.
Thanks Melody!
