Very true. This happens to me more than I care to admit and I’ve had to go to the post office several times for false “delivered” or “notice left” tracking info. Sometimes they give the wrong info about where the package were delivered too. For example, tracking might say it was delivered to the front porch/door when it was actually delivered to the front office or parcel locker (if you live in an apartment complex or housing division). It’s their job to help you and most of the time they can help you figure it out by asking who had what delivery route and when.
