The last photo has nice dramatic lighting and shows good action if you crop in closer to the jumping Dolphin. The third one has very good overall lighting, detail and composition, however the pose is a little too cliche in my opinion.
Personally, I believe the best one is the second one with the two Dolphins jumping at angles. This one also has really nice lighting and action. It has very nice composition with the wave crests breaking around the Dolphins in such a way that the waves direct you into the photo, and frame the Dolphins nicely.
My suggestion would be to crop the photo to just above the small crest that is above the main waves, so only the water is in the entire background – to focus the eye on the wave crests and Dolphins. Perhaps also keep the small wave crest at the bottom right of the photo – just cropped enough to run off the lower right edge – to help pull your eye into the photo. That’s my 2 cents – Good Luck if she enters the photo contest! I believe she has a good chance. 🙂
