They are not ready yet, but when they are, it will be One Tanuki (either plain or fancy) Per Customer. Please do not mob the website! I can feel everyone assembling on the other side of my screen… They are not ready yet! They won’t be ready until the “Mail Chimp sings” (that’s the email service we use to send out notices). Please only order one tanuki – choose plain or fancy – do not order both styles or it will be extra work informing you that you can only have one and refunding overpayments and that will make it take longer to fill orders.
As usual, do not use any auto refreshing programs or scripts on our website as it slows it way down – please refrain from refreshing by hand a zillion times too. You may do that to your email service instead! 😉

We have our web host to thank, he was working with it for hours. As far as I know the problem was too many people all doing the same thing at the same time – and I think every time the site went back up – everyone tried to do that same thing at the same time AGAIN! It must have been very frustrating for everyone and I did not notice anyone being overly cranky about it. Thank you!
I appreciate that everyone read the instructions about it being one Tanuki per customer – I was so afraid that no one would see that and order one of each and then there would be a lot of adjusting of orders.

Thanks for updating us via Facebook last night! I started seeing and reading all the posts/updates when I decided to kill time waiting for the first crash to get sorted out…. Boy Howdy, there was some entertaining reading at times – I even posted one or two comments 🙂
The updates helped me to decide to hang out longer than I had initially planned, and I luckily got my Tanuki order slipped in between the first two crashes within a 10 min window (about 5 min after you signed off) around 9:55pm – 10pm(EDT) or so.
Tell your Web Host he did a great job getting the site working, considering our crazed pursuits of the Tanukis. Talk about Mr Toad’s Wild Ride! 😉BTW – the Store still has over 10 Fancy and 1 Plain Tanuki left – I just checked. 🙂
