Anyone else participate in Swagbucks? My sister got me started on it this past weekend and I’ve already got enough points for a $25 Amazon gift card. It’s pretty sweet, earning money to answer surveys and look at advertisements. Swagbucks gathers all those offers and compiles them for you in a really easy to use format. I know I sound like a spam email, but it’s a neat system! I don’t mind goofing off on the computer, participating in surveys and earning money. 🙂
So anyone else do this? If not, and you want to get started, PM me your email and I’ll send you an invite! I’d highly recommend creating a junk email account to use though, it makes a lot of spam!

I have done online surveys before, years back, but none ever paid out for me, lol ! But that was years back, and doing surveys that actually pay sounds like fun 🙂
Not to hijack this thread, but another neat way to make some extra bucks online is via ebates ! Since I shop online now and then, if I just go through ebates (which lists some of the online stores I shop at ie-Walmart, Amazon, ebay) to click on the stores link, I then make a earn a certain % back of my purchase! Sometimes its only 1 or 2%, and sometimes its a lot more! For those that travel, you can book hotel rooms and trips etc for certain hotels, and since that sometimes quite a lot of cash, it can add up in savings pretty quick 🙂

I used to get a cheque mailed out to me for my cash earned, now I get it put directly into paypal ! And that of course is used towards Windstone Purchases ! 🙂

Hmmm, that sounds really tempting to try out, would definitely would be nice to have some extra amazon book buying cash! Question though, has anyone ever gotten any viruses from this site, I’m kinda wary about that!

So far, so good for me. I have Avast running on my browser too. It’s only given me a ‘this site is dangerous, do you wish to proceed?’ warning once (and I said no). And of course I never download anything.
Some tips I’ve heard about/discovered.
If you have a smartphone, download the swagbucks TV app. You get bucks for watching videos, and they auto-advance. I just mute my phone, make sure I’m on wifi, and let it run until I’ve earned all I can for the day.
If you use Chrome, get the swagbucks extension. It also has videos you can watch (again, I mute and just let it go) for bucks, as well as notifying you if you’re on a participating website. You can get discount coupons and earn bucks for shopping from their partners, and the extension is an easy way to keep track of those opportunities.
I do most of my earnings with the surveys, both gold and peanut labs. I’ve had some technical difficulties with partner surveys, so I don’t usually check those out but maybe other folks have better luck.
The offers under peanut labs can be good too, if you don’t mind sharing your name/email and sometimes address. I sort by popular, and those are usually the easiest ones. Also, swagbucks tells you what to do to get the rewards, so make sure you read that note in the pop-up window.
On their home page, on the left hand side, it keeps track of your earnings for the day. If you meet certain goals, you earn extra points.
That’s all I’ve figured out for now. XD
There is a lady at my church who does Swagbucks and is happy with it. I don’t do enough online- and am suspicious- so haven’t tried it despite her urging. She does seem to constantly have Amazon giftcards.
I used to do it! But haven’t in a while. I think I was only up to a few dollars. It’s been ages but it was fun!
I just earned another $25 Amazon gift card…$50 in less than 2 weeks? Yeah, I’m going to keep doing this! 😀

But again, /highly/ recommend creating an email account specifically for this purpose. It generates a TON of spam.
