Hi guys! I am wondering if I can get your opinions on what would be a fair price for a broken Peacock Lap Dragon (pictures to follow). I am not sure what to offer, and the seller is not sure what to ask for, so I figured I’d see what some opinions on here are in the hopes that we can figure something out 🙂
Here’s the Dragon – She seems to have some damage to the top of the wing, some scales missing on the tail, a chunk near the horn is missing, and the average wear and tear to the gold detailing.
Any opinions would be much appreciated!

Part of her face was missing on the non-display side, the horn was in and so was the eye. I paid $55. Whether that applies to this, I’m not sure.
Read my books! Volume 1 and 2 of A Dragon Medley are available now.

50-55 sounds about right.

There’s a damaged lap dragon that sold on ebay for $150 plus steep shipping charge (close to $200). It was a test paint, so it’d probably be valued higher than peacock lap.

Over the last few months I have been watching lap dragons sold by one particular seller. I believe all were very good to mint condition. I bought the ruby lap in October for $142.50 (mint with tag and box). Others are:
Emerald (undamaged, no tag, no box) – sold in November for $107.50
Peacock (minor repair on wing) – sold in November for $122.50
Brown (mint with tag and box) – sold in December for $177.50All were sold with free shipping, so the sale price is the total paid.

Does it seem prices are somewhat depressed lately on ebay? I’ve been noticing that some of the Windstone ebay items are going for less than I’d expect. Or, I should say going for much less than a few years ago prices. Good thing for bargain hunters.

I notice that too, I saw a mint male peg go for $55 two days ago. I really feel for the winner though. I messaged the seller asking how it would be shipped and they bluntly refused the idea of double boxing and have to pay more for shipping. Said it was “bad for business”. I have an eerie feeling that pegasus isn’t gonna make it.

That seller is only making problems for themselves if it arrives broken-the buyer is going to want ALL of their money back. As a seller, you still have to pay sellers fees on returned items.
