They are painted, I just need to give them a final once-over, then they need to be scrutinized by the packing dept. and padded…

I never know when things will go in the store. MAYBE this week, but probably next week.So the wild dogs and GB might come out at the same time. Do you know about how many there is in the GB batch? I know the wild dogs it was mentioned there is over 100. Are these sculpts smaller than the red foxes, I have seen the comparison picture of all of them but the ears throw me off 🙂 .

4. September Raffle Prize 2022 AHD Male GriffinThe bat eared fox is bigger than the fennec. It is hard to compare him to the red fox because the sculpts are so different. The red fox is stretched out with his feet in front and the bat eared fox is more “tucked in”. I think their skulls would be about the same size, if that helps.

Can’t wait until I can grab one, then I just need the wolf to complete the set. Hopefully they are not too far behind the bat eared ones.They are so neat, I just love the pebble sculpt. I’m guessing if they are around the same size as the red foxes they might be in that same price range. I know what will be under the tree this year for me 😀

Love baby kirins, safari poads, mini keepers, and anything BLUE, BLUE, and, oh yes, BLUE.
Oh my god!!! I got one!!! One of the African Wild dog ones. I am SO EXCITED. Two years ago, I went with some friends to South Africa to a Cheetah preserve and a wild bird rehabilitation center and got to see bat eared foxes and African wild dogs for the first time. I actually have a stuffed animal of an African Wild dog. (Not like a stuffed corpse or anything horrible like that, just a plushie.) This is also my first pebble animal ever. The paint job on these little guys is just fabulous; I’m surprised they weren’t classified as a grab bag as well like the hoppies. Maybe just a bit too uniform in color?
Anyway. I am just so beyond thrilled, I can’t wait to receive mine; it was small enough that I could afford to have it shipped to me in Japan so I will get to enjoy him before July. 🙂 Although they didn’t appeal to me as much personally for a variety of reasons, I look forward to seeing the results of those who managed to get grab bag versions as well as all the awd siblings :DD
