I believe you can give many things second life. Please share with the community some things you have done or some you find interesting. Many things can be recycled into new existence instead of being tossed in the trash. Here is one I find extremely smart.I have a broken planter and this will be a Spring project for me next year.I know of a pottery place and I think I will pay them a visit this Fall. This is really awesome.Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Then there is this artist: http://hubcapcreatures.deviantart.com/gallery
There are many many artists that use scrap stuff to make creatures, but this artist has an exceptional understanding of form and anatomy. The fish are the best.

Oh, wow, these are amazing! Thanks for sharing the link!

Although I find it kind of sad that someone can find THAT many hubcaps along the side of the road. But I’m so glad someone picks them up and puts them to good use.

Wouldn’t it just be awesome to live in a castle?
I think we should all recycle and/or reuse whenever possible. We only have one world and limited rescources. Please help keep our carbon footprints as small as possible.Everyone does a little part and they do add up though you might not notice.I watched a program on one recycling center. They brought in 15 full truckloads of trash and drove ONE out to the landfill. It can be done folks.
Please share some of your recycled products or ideas, whether they be yours or someone elses. It gives folks ideas they might not have ever thought of.Thanks!

Mm, not sure if this pertains but…you can use old toothbrushes to scrub the grooves of shower doors and other hard to reach areas. And the plastic container that cat litter comes in can be used as a fine bucket. I use a rinsed out one in the pantry to store all the plastic grocery bags that don’t have holes in them for later use. The ones with holes go to the bag recycle boxes they have at grocery stores.
