HI all! I’ve been collecting Windstone for a while. I have 23 pieces, and started when they released. Mostly the older pieces that I found and was amazed at seeing them for the first time, back around 28 to 30 years ago. Then I kind of lost touch and couldn’t find them, until I moved to the Oregon Coast 6 years ago. I went into the Blue Heron at Depoe Bay, and was just surprised to see new dragons. So I asked the owner about them and was told they moved to Corvallis which is only about an hour drive away. I was just shocked and it brought back all the memories of getting each piece in my collection.
So I recently tried to purchase the tri dragon candle and had a snafu with paypal, and Susie wrote me the next day. I wrote back, and then called, and came over in person and picked it up. Everyone there was so nice, and though they were very busy, they took the time to give me a tour. It was incredible. I was just blown away. I can’t say enough on how I was treated there, and they were very classy and just really amazing hosts. Was really impressed and I had a blast showing them my pictures of my pieces, as well as talking about each one, and then being shown around. It was a very cool experience.
So Thank You Windstone Editions, you didn’t have to do that. But, that was awesome! Thank You so much! That was really cool and I very much appreciate it. I was like a kid in a candy store and I will be 58 this year. So i was thrilled! Also, bought three new kids for my collection. Finally got my Emperor. Woot! I’ve been wanting one for the longest time. Also, an Autumn Cat Wizard and the Tri Dragon Candle.
I was thrilled to get that opportunity, and I very much appreciated the tour, and the hospitality Susie. Thank you again everyone, and that was really cool of you all. I had a lot of fun and really enjoyed it. Thanks Again!!!!
JJ

Thanks Again Everyone, it was very nice to meet you all and Thanks Again for the tour and the hospitality. That was awesome!!!

Everyone is welcoming and willing to help or answer questions. They are very supportive as well.
Expect your collection to continue to grow, there are just so many wonderful and unique pieces! Oh and you’ll love the grab bag editions too I think!

Even dealing online, everyone from Windstone is so helpful and kind. If you are looking for any other pieces, have you seen the classifieds section on here as well? That’s great for buying, selling or trading pieces.

*** Come visit me on deviantArt at http://ela-hara.deviantart.comJune 13, 2014 at 9:41 pm #914113Thank you all for the warm welcome to the forums. Thanks JMoore, Bodine, and Ela-Hara. Very much appreciated. Regarding the tour and getting to go, that was really nice of them. They were wonderful hosts. I got to see someone at the work station painting some pieces, and they took the time to tell me about each piece I had. I brought pictures of them on my droid. They are really busy but they took the time to do that for me and I had a wonderful time. It was really cool. For me to start collecting almost 30 years ago and get an opportunity like that was just amazing. Very much appreciated as well. It was awesome.
Plus I came away with three new kids for the collection and I still didn’t bring enough money with me. lol
I purchased the Tri Dragon Candle, Blue Morpho Emperor, and the Autumn Wizard Cat and they all have a nice display spot. So I am a happy camper and very fortunate to have been able to get that opportunity. Was Awesome! Once in a lifetime kind of experience!
