    Has anyone ever made a thread specifically for posting ideas or inspiration that could be cool to see as possibilities for test paints on windstones?

          Has anyone tried looking up fish (salt/fresh)? Amazing colors and patterns abound there. Plants often give me inspiration too. And some scenery photos too. I have a large reference photo folder just for Windstone inspiration pics.

          For example…a colorful sea slug. 😉

            I agree with prezaurian. There are some beautiful and uniquely colored nudibranchs out there.

              I tried out a scheme in photoshop using a fish (Aulonocara Blue Gold Fish) on a dragon when I was exploring options for an upcoming wedding present but it didn’t turn out very well and I decided to go with a different inspiration haha. It was a pretty weird looking dragon. 😀

                I looked up the fish you mentioned. It’s very colorful! But I can see how it would be awkward to apply. It’s stripe pattern is really narrow. My sympathies.
