Does anyone know some good links for painting digitally with photoshop cs6. I’ve looked myself, but I haven’t really found good ones. There’s so many out there it’s information overload. I’m not a complete novice when it comes to photoshop. I know what layers are, though I’m not totally confidant I know how to use them effectively in painting. Adjustment layers are an enigma. I don’t know when it’s appropriate to use them or really how I can use them effectively. I like to think I’m in between novice and intermediate. When I do paintings they look so flat.
Thanks in advance for any help.

If you go onto the DeviantArt site, there is a PhotoShop Group dedicated to all sorts of PhotoShop tutorials, tips, etc. Here’s the link to their group: http://photoshop-tutorials.deviantart.com/
I’m sure you’ll find TONS of great tutorials and stuff you never ever even thought of!
I’ve been trying to get some time to try teaching myself some digital art as well… but too busy with work and so many other ‘hands on’ crafts interests… latest of which are the Windstone PYOs of course! :bigsmile:Good Luck! π

Hey Melody!
‘Watch’ the Tutorial group and every time someone posts a tutorial it will show up in your threads. What I’ve done is I’ve made a ‘favorites’ folder specifically for PhotoShop Tutorials and I drop the ones I want to keep and refer back to, in that folder so they’re in one place.I love collecting Tips and Tricks! You never know when they’re going to come in handy… π
