This is Really Cool!
Berry College, a Liberal Arts College located in Floyd County, Georgia, USA, has an Eagle Nest webcam that is 24/7…. you can watch the Bald Eagle parents raise their young! An egg was produced on January 14, 2014, followed by a second egg on January 17. An eaglet chick hatched on Saturday, February 22, from one of the two eggs laid in January. The other egg has not hatched, so I don’t know if it is viable – probably not at this point.
Take a look!

April 3, 2014 at 12:59 pm #911021If you haven’t looked lately, the baby Eaglet is now almost as big as MaMa, and the brown feathers are coming in. 🙂
The baby still has some downy feathers under its wings and on its belly, but it’s looking more and more like an eagle every day!IN SEARCH OF MY NEXT GRAILS:

It doesn’t look like it ever hatched, so it was probably pushed out of the nest by the chick or one of the adult eagles a couple weeks ago.

Excellent!
April 3, 2014 at 7:21 pm #911037Yes, I believe the ‘EagleCam’ was put up over a year ago or so… I believe there is some history about it written on the College’s web page. It is really cool – take a look at nighttime – the Cam has a ‘Night Vision’ mode! 🙂
