I see such wonderful PYOs on here all the time but did not want to pin them without permission. So my solution is to invite all of you that wish to show off your work on our Pinterest page to pin to a board I’m creating. However it turns out I need your email to invite you to do so. So please PM me with your email if you are interested in pinning your windstone creations to this board. Thank You!

Engaged to a WeaselSorry but it turns out there is one more hoop to jump through that I didn’t know about. Before people can post to my board we have to be following each other. If you already following Windstone then you are fine and I’ll just send you an invite with your email address. If not you’ll have to go to our pinterest page http://www.pinterest.com/windstoneeds and then click on the follow button. I’ll follow you back and then send you the invite if I’m provided your email. Why does everything have to be so complicated :~

Engaged to a WeaselApparently I heard that pinterest, like weheartit, is going to get shut down because people are using it as a way to steal images and claim it’s their work.
Also, like the above user said,it’s one more hoop/too much of a hassle to join. There’s already an official PYO Deviantart group to share our pics =D
I can’t imagine Pinterest shutting down anytime soon given that their are so many companies doing business on it. I know they have a policy on theft of work… not sure how effective it is but so far it doesn’t seem to have caused more knockoffs. I was worried about that too. I think you run the risk of that happening when you make money off of anything that people can see. My idea was just to attract more people to the world of PYO’s than just other forum members and Windstone fans. I should also have mentioned that this is the official Windstone Pinterest page not just something of my own.

I’m not sure everyone realizes, BipolarBear is a Windstone employee. 🙂 He’s also hosted some of the recent grab bag live streams for us!

Engaged to a WeaselI went on the Pinterest to pin all of my PYOs. Not having a clue how it worked I did a board and then pinned em all only in the end after all the work captioning everything, I realized that I had freaking pinned em to a board attached to my Pinterest acct and not on the windstone PYO board….. Ahhhhhh NO. I was so PO’d at myself I gave up but will go and pin again to the windstone PYO board and do it right this time lol
I think it’s a great idea and allows our PYOs and everyone’s artistry to be viewed by a broader audience then we may get otherwise
I often forget to change the drop down box “pin to ___ board” area as well. I end up having to go and edit a bunch of my pins to make sure they are in the proper place.

Engaged to a Weasel😀 Thank you so much for doing that! I’m happy to see forum member content on our page and hope it brings in new people. I’m going to try and switch around the board cover to feature a different artists work at least every other week if I remember to it will change every week. Right now it’s just going to go back and forth between two people but I’m hopeful more will want to join you.
