In the last few months if you chose USPS Priority Mail or Express Mail as your shipping option, you may have noticed that it takes more time than the Post Office thinks it will for packages to reach you. Be aware of this delay! If a package is supposed to take 2 days, it will likely take 3 days or maybe more. This is due to Post Office cutbacks which send our outgoing mail farther away from us then they used to before they leave Oregon. Our in-coming mail also takes longer than you’d expect to reach us. Be aware of these things if you are needing a package to reach its destination by a certain date – Order gifts so that we can send them with plenty of time to travel before the event!

So far I have not noticed a delay, but thanks for the warning.

I’ve noticed this as well when purchasing from my suppliers. They’ll have a projected delivery date on their website but the box won’t arrive until approximately 2 days after that. The first time it gave me quite the scare!
