Ok guys…a follow up on my brown female dragon found in the bottom of a box of junk at an auction. I’m now being told it is a fake because it has no felt on bottom and just has the words windstone editions and nothing about Hollywood California. I’m so confused.
The oldest brown dragons had no felt, and were just stamped. If you could download a picture that would be immensely helpful. 🙂
Dang, I just packed my brown male. He’s a really old one, no felt pad, just the Windstone Editions name stamped on the bottom. Some of the old greens are the same. You can email me a pic, if you want.

It is the Mother Dragon in Brown. They were made from 1985 to 1993. The earlier ones did not have pads. At some point, they started getting pads 🙂
Even though it’s old, browns are fairly common on the resale market. In the condition it is in, I’d say it’s worth at least $50 – $70. If it was mint maybe more like $120 – 150

I would guess you could sell her for about $40. There is a “Repairs” section of the Forum with advice if you feel like trying do-it-yourself repairs. Some members of the Forum do marvelous repair work and could give you a price to fix her.
Edit – I see that drag0nfeathers has given a higher estimate of the dragon’s value. As you can tell … pricing Windstones is not an exact science!

Shes real, and shes OLD!!
I only valued it as high as I did simply because it’s more “vintage” then the ones with the felt pads. I got $100 a piece for my old set and they were repairs. Minor issues fixed, but repairs nonetheless. Then I got my newer versions with the felt for less then I sold my ones without the felt in mint shape.
I only wanted to get he newer versions because thye matches limited editions ones from the store better, but osme people really love the old vintage ones.
